Embedded & Enterprise Engineering Solutions

Solutions for increased efficiencies

TES-i connectivity and wireless monitoring for oil and gas help maintain schedules and maximum output. For years, TES-i has implemented its solutions to help the oil and gas industry realize increased efficiencies and reduce waste with embedded and enterprise sense and control solutions. For instance, TES-i developed the first multi-fuel industrial digital engine controller (iDEC) to use well gas as fuel to generate electricity and hydraulic power, resulting in significant cost savings. Additionally, our wireless mesh networks allow companies to monitor data from equipment in the field, such as water levels in tanks at oil fracking sites or wells and equipment in the field.

Water Tank Levels at Fracking Sites

The Problem

An mining company sought to remotely monitor water tank levels to reduce the risk of personnel injury from manually checking levels.

The Solution

TES-i developed a wireless mesh network system using rugged nodes that report the water levels, which can be accessed remotely.

Project Highlights

The rugged nodes communicate to a gateway, which then transmits the information wirelessly to tablets and phones with a graphic view of tank levels. The system is also designed to alert the site manager when water levels are low.
